Aluminum Electrical Cabinets for 200 km/h EMU Project Enter Assembly Stage
SY Precision is currently supporting the trial production of aluminum electrical cabinets for a 200 km/h economical EMU project. The first trainset cabinets have now entered the assembly stage.
Electrical cabinets used in rail vehicles are different from standard industrial cabinets. During train operation, the cabinet structure is exposed to continuous high-frequency vibration, which places higher requirements on welding quality, structural rigidity, deformation control, dimensional accuracy and long-term reliability.
For this project, aluminum structures are used to support lightweight design while maintaining the necessary strength and stability for rail transit applications. The manufacturing process involves multiple coordinated steps, including aluminum welding, sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, surface treatment, mechanical fitting and final cabinet assembly.
This project reflects SY Precision’s ability to support customers with multi-process manufacturing and resource integration, rather than only single-process production. From welded aluminum cabinet frames to finished mechanical assemblies, we focus on stable process control, accurate dimensions and consistent delivery.
SY Precision provides custom metal manufacturing services based on customer drawings, including welded structures, sheet metal parts, electrical cabinet bodies, CNC machined components, surface treatment support and mechanical assembly for rail transit, industrial equipment and other demanding applications.
