Large fabricated components often present a unique challenge: maintaining dimensional accuracy after welding while ensuring that all critical surfaces and interfaces meet machining requirements.
At SY Precision, many of our projects involve the combination of heavy welded fabrications and post-weld machining operations.
The components shown here are typical examples. Fabricated steel structures are welded, stress-relieved when required, and then transferred to our machining department for precision processing on large gantry machining centers.
By integrating fabrication and machining under one roof, we can better control:
✓ Dimensional consistency
✓ Welding quality
✓ Machining accuracy
✓ Production lead time
✓ Overall project coordination
Our workshop is equipped to handle medium and large-size components for industrial equipment, mining machinery, energy projects, material handling systems and other heavy-duty applications.
For many customers, the challenge is not simply finding a welding supplier or a machining supplier. The real challenge is finding a manufacturing partner capable of managing both processes efficiently while ensuring that the final assembly requirements are met.
Whether it is a machine base, equipment frame, structural assembly or custom-engineered component, close coordination between fabrication and machining is often essential to achieving reliable results.
Over the years, we have supported customers with projects involving:
• Heavy welded structures
• Large machine frames
• Equipment bases
• Custom industrial assemblies
• Precision-machined fabrication components
Every project starts with drawings, but successful manufacturing depends on process planning, fixture design, welding sequence control and machining strategy.
These details often determine the final quality of a component long before the first chip is cut.
As industrial projects continue to demand larger, more complex fabricated parts, integrated manufacturing capabilities become increasingly important.
We remain focused on delivering practical manufacturing solutions through a combination of fabrication expertise, machining capacity and engineering support.
